Vivian Alonso

Vivian Cumpian Alonso passed from this life on July 9, 2020 at the age of 54. She was born April 17, 1966 to Frank and Mary Cumpian, Jr.  She was a breast cancer survivor and was active and enjoyed participating  in cancer relays. She liked cooking and baking for her family. She was a pharmacy tech and was of the Catholic religion.

She is survived by her husband, Roberto Alonso, Sr.; children, Sofia Ann Mariscal, Lorenzo Mariscal, II, Roberto Alonso, Jr.; granddaughter, Mia Nevaeh Torres; mother, Mary Cumpian; aunts, Gloria "Yaya" Rodriguez, Rose Pizano, Lisa Martinez; sister, Iris Cumpian Fajkus and many other beloved family members.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Cumpian, Jr.; brother, Randy Frank Cumpian; daughter, Sonia Ann Mariscal; late husband, Lorenzo Mariscal Jimenez; aunt, Eva Padilla; grandparents, Manuela and Frank Cumpian, Sr. and Dominga and Jesus Rodriguez, Sr.

Visitation begins Monday at 10 am at Eagle Lake Funeral Home followed by funeral service beginning at 11 am. Burial will follow at Parish of the Nativity Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lorenzo Mariscal, Roberto Alonso, Jr., Davy Diaz, Luis Cardona, Jeremy Rodriguez and Hector Granillo, Jr.

Due to state mandates everyone attending is required to wear a face mask and attendance will be limited to 50. Please use the hand sanitizer when you enter and again when you leave.
