Obituary

Maria Del Socorro Ruvalcaba Cano passed away February 27, 2022 at the age of 81. She was born June 22, 1940 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico to the late Ramiro Ruvalcaba and Hermalinda Valdez Castillo.

Maria is survived by her sons, Rene Cano, Fernando Cano, Ramiro Cano, Guadalupe Cano, Jesus Cano, Javier Cano; daughter, Socorrito Cano; brothers, Ramiro Ruvalcaba, Sergio Valdez; sisters, Olivia Valdez, Juana Valdez, Silva Valdez, Maria de Jesus Valdez, Marta Valdez; 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramiro and Hermalinda Ruvalcaba; husband, Guadalupe Cano; brother, Victor Valdez; sisters, Petra Valdez and Maria Valdez.

Visitation will be held at Eagle Lake Funeral Home from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday at Eagle Lake Funeral Home with burial to follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
