Victor Ruben Martinez

Victor Ruben Martinez “Vio” of Eagle Lake, Texas passed away in his home Friday January 5^th,2024 in Houston Texas. Son of the late Guadalupe” Pino” Martinez Sr. and Sina Martinez, Victor is survived by his mother Sina, brother Guadalupe Jr and sisters Maria and Angela. Victor loved life and lived every day serving the Lord and giving his testimony to all and any who would listen and was always eager to invite anyone and all to church and attend a service. Victor was loved by many and with that same intensity he loved back and was always putting the needs of others before himself and willing to help in any way he could without hesitation, always giving with his whole heart. Victor did not have any children of his own, but he did have many nieces and nephews that he loved so much and would give anything to see them happy whether it was buying a happy meal from McDonalds, snacks from the store or simply playing together, making them laugh and smile there was nothing he wouldn’t do for them they were his world. If you met and knew Victor, you knew that he loved dancing and there is no doubt that he is now dancing in heaven alongside his father Pino watching over all those that loved him. As much sadness that loss of his life on this earth is we also Celebrate him entering Heaven until we meet again our beloved Son, Brother, Nephew, Cousin and Friend you are Loved and will be Forever greatly missed.

Visitation for Victor will be held at The Vine of the Lord Church in Eagle Lake, Tx on Monday, January 15th from 4:30 until 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 16th at The Vine of the Lord Church with burial to follow at Nativity Cemetery.
