Valentin O. Cerna

Valentin O. Cerna passed away November 27, 2023 at the age of 94. He was born May 21, 1929 in San Benito, Texas to the late Andres and Margarita Ochoa Cerna.

He is survived by his wife, Juanita Benitez Cerna; sons, Valentin Serna, Jr., Gerardo Serna, Arturo Serna, Edwardo Serna; daughters, Veronica S. Torrez, Sylvia S. Tamayo, Rosaura S. Salinas, Gloria S. Trevino as well as numerous grand children, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jose O. Serna and Manuel Serna and daughter Nora S. Malibran.

Visitation will be from 9 am until 11 am Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Eagle Lake Funeral Home with a Memorial Service at 10:30 am.
