Sebastian Ysidro Soliz, 41, of Katy, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. He was born in Houston, Texas on May 9, 1984, to Oscar Diaz Soliz and Ruby (Figueroa) Soliz.
Sebastian, lovingly known as “Bandit” by his father, lived his life filled with creativity, generosity, and strength. A mover & shaker he was man of many interests, he enjoyed hard work, video games, classic westerns, and art. He found peace in gardening, took pride in building and creating, and was always ready to bring people together with his generous spirit.
He was deeply devoted to his community, his family, and his friends. In life, his greatest strength was his willful fighting spirit — a spirit that inspired those who knew him and carried him through every challenge.
Sebastian’s laughter, kindness, and determination will be forever remembered.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ruby and Oscar Soliz.
Sebastian is survived by his brothers; Jay Precious (Portia), and Koen Sykes (Melissa). Sisters; Darlyng Soliz (Gregory), Abagail Emilia Soliz Ramirez (Abisai), Charlotte Reeder (Channing) and Janice Precious. Numerous nieces, nephews, along with many extended family members and friends who will continue to honor his memory.
Services will be limited to close family and loved ones, honoring Sebastian’s wishes.
In remembrance of Sebastian, his family invites those attending to celebrate his life through the music he loved, and to honor his memory with a touch of green, his favorite color.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 29, 2025 at the Eagle Lake Funeral Home Chapel from 5 – 6 PM, with a Rosary being recited at 6 PM.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM, Tuesday, September 30,2025, at the Parrish of the Nativity Catholic Church, with Father Oscar Amo, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lakeside Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Texas.
