Sandra Lou Dutcher, 78, of Lissie, Texas, passed away at Arbor Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Eagle Lake, Texas on July 21,2025 after a lengthy illness.
Sandra was born on November 1, 1946, in Eagle Lake, Texas to Charley and Mabel Braden. She graduated from Eagle Lake High School n 1965 and attended Wharton County Junior College.
She married James Allen Dutcher and lived in Lissie, Texas. They had two children, LeAnn Foley and James Allen Ductcher, Jr.
She was employed at First National Bank in Eagle Lake until retirement on November 1, 2010. After retirement, she volunteered for a time as a Pink Lady at Eagle Lake Hospital.
Sandra loved living in Lissie. She was an avid reader and liked working in her yard. She loved knitting and crocheting and donated her hand made stocking caps to an organization to benefit cancer victims. She went to many music concerts, loved her trip to Yosemite and the Grand Canyon, enjoyed her favorite TV shows and just riding around Lissie on her golf cart.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, mom and dad and numerous relatives and close friends.
Surviving is her daughter LeAnn Foley and husband Frank, son James Allen Dutcher, Jr., and wife Amy, grandchildren, Collin and Reagan Dutcher; sister Pattie Hough as well as loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the First United Methodist Church in Lissie, Texas, starting at 10 AM. Services will follow at 11 AM, with Pastor Stan Warfield, officiating. Burial will follow in the Lissie Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cole Hough, Brady Hough, Corey Hough, Walter Earl Dutcher, Jr., Collin Dutcher and James Dutcher.
