Paul Adolph Supak

Paul Adolph Supak, 71, of Eagle Lake, Texas, passed away on August 28, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and man of God. Paul will be remembered for his steadfast faith, generosity, skilled hands, and lifelong commitment to serving others.

Paul was born on May 18, 1955, in East Bernard, Texas, to Daniel Henry Supak Sr. and Elsie Eleanor Billeck. He graduated with honors from Rice High School in 1973 and earned an associate degree in architectural drafting from Wharton County Junior College in 1975.

On November 12, 1976, Paul married the love of his life, Oralia Rodriguez, in the home he built for her. Together, Paul and Oralia created a life rooted in faith, family, generosity, and service. In December 1988, they welcomed their only son, John Paul Supak, who is their pride and joy.

Paul worked for the City of Eagle Lake for over a decade before beginning a distinguished 32-year career with CenterPoint Energy. He also served his community for many years on the City of Eagle Lake Zoning Committee. Throughout his life, he devoted himself to helping others, including families in need and anyone who could benefit from a helping hand. Paul was a dependable and generous man who was always willing to share his time, talents, and resources with others.

A devoted founding member of Grace Point Community Church in El Campo, Paul faithfully served as an elder, greeter, and usher. He also led the design and creation of the church’s woodwork, leaving behind a lasting reflection of his craftsmanship and devotion. His Christian faith guided every aspect of his life, and he demonstrated the love of Christ through humble service, compassion, and generosity.

Paul was a gifted woodworker who enjoyed restoring and working on old cars, attending car shows, and spending time in his shop. He treasured time with his family, whether playing dominoes, working on puzzles, or simply enjoying one another’s company. He was happiest when tinkering in his shop, repairing something, building something meaningful, or using his talents to help someone else.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife, Oralia R. Supak; his mother, Elsie Garza; his son, John Paul Supak, and his wife, Nida; his grandsons, Colton Reid, Hudson James, and Preston Hayes; his siblings, Daniel “Dan” Supak Jr., Susan Warren, and Charles “Charlie” Supak; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Supak Sr.; his paternal grandparents, Rudolph and Agnes Supak; and his maternal grandparents, Charles “Frank” Billeck and Mary Korenek.

A wake and visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Eagle Lake Funeral Home, 607 N. McCarty Ave., Eagle Lake, Texas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Grace Point Community Church, 820 West Loop, El Campo, Texas, with Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Burial and interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, 1310 Lakeside Drive, Eagle Lake, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Isaac Atwood, Justin Cruz, Anthony Garza, Adrian Gonzalez, Daniel Hernandez Jr., Jesus Herrera, Jacob Sanchez, and Tim Sulak. Honorary pallbearers will be John Paul Supak, Daniel “Dan” Supak Jr., Charles “Charlie” Supak, Doyle “Bubba” Warren III, Harry Allibone Jr., Donald “Robin” Cloud, James Salinas, the late Arnold Cardenas, and the men of Grace Point Community Church.

For those wishing to honor Paul’s memory, the family kindly requests memorial donations to the Eagle Lake Fire Department or Grace Point Community Church.

Paul’s life was a testimony of faith expressed through action. Although his presence will be deeply missed, his legacy will live on through his family, church, community, and the countless lives touched by his kindness and generosity.
