Joseph Ruiz

Joseph Eugene Ruiz, better known as :Lil Joe, passed away on January 25, 2021. He was 29years old. He lived in Eagle Lake and loved the town with all his heart; Eagle Lake4 loved him too.

He was born on May 5, 1991 and was the 8th of 12 children. He enjoyed walking around Eagle Lake to visit friends and family, horse playing with the children in his life, and listening to Z-ro. He loved to tease his friends and had a hilarious laugh. Everyone of his friends and family could tell a story about a time when he made everyone in the room laugh.

He is survived by his father, Joe Eugene Ruiz; grandparents, Eugenia and Joe Ruiz; siblings, Corrie, Moses(Erika), Louie (Eva), Nathan (Janeth) Kevin, Aaron (Cynthia), Hannah, Adrianna, Juanita (Jose), Isaac and Gloria; 14 nieces and 11 nephews.

Funeral services are Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at First Baptist Church of Eagle Lake. A celebration of Life will be at 2:00 pm followed by interment at Parish of the Nativity Cemetery.
