Jose Luis Robles

Jose Luis Robles, passed away June 23, 2024 at the age of 69. Jose was born June 21, 1955 in Mexico to Candido Robles and Vicenta Villagrana Robles.

Jose Robles was a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and much more who was loved by many. For a certain time he was an alcoholic who would be diagnosed with cirrhosis and be told that he would die in a few months in 2002, but proved them wrong with the help of god and changed his life for the better and lived another 22 years alcoholic free. An example for his family because he put God first in his decisions.

He is survived by his wife, Guadalupe Robles of Eagle Lake; sons, Julio Robles of Mexico, Jose Robles of Eagle Lake, Erik Robles of Eagle Lake, Daniel Robles of Eagle Lake; brothers, Tereso Robles, Juan Robles of East Bernard, Guadalupe Robles of El Campo, Francisco Robles of El Campo, Martin Robles of Mexico; sisters, Victoriana Robles of Mexico, Llaria Robles of Denver, Colorado, Maria Robles of Denver, Colorado, Josefina Robles of Mexico; 9 grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 pm until 7 pm on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Eagle Lake Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10 am on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Cristo Es La Respuesta Church. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Julio Robles, Jose Robles, Erik Robles, Juan Robles, Nicolas Robles and Daniel Robles.
