Davy Cumpian Diaz, 50, of East Bernard, Texas, passed away on July 7, 2026, from injuries sustained in a car accident in Wharton County, Texas. 

Davy was born on February 25, 1976, in Eagle Lake, Texas to David G. Diaz and Esther Cumpian. He was an avid collector of movies and heavy metal music. Davy enjoyed working on trucks, had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to make people laugh. He was a devoted son who remained close to his mother and family throughout his life, especially during difficult times.

 Davy passed away alongside his beloved girlfriend, Dusty Rodriguez, and was preceded in death by his father, David G. Diaz, and his grandparents, Francisco & Manuela Cumpian, Sr. 

He is survived by his mother, Esther Cumpian; sisters, Isis Diaz and Angel Konesheck; his brother-in-law, Jordan Konesheck; nieces, Pippa Chmelik and Scarlett Ramirez; nephews, Elliott Carter, Logan Carter, Wyatt and Owen Konesheck; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many cherished friends.
