Carlos Diaz Valles

Carlos Diaz Valles, 50, of Eagle Lake, Texas, passed away in Katy, Texas on Sunday, December 21, 2025. He was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on October 7, 1975, to Ramon Diaz and Alica Valles. He spent majority of his life ranching.

He loved to spend time with his family watching wrestling, old western & holiday movies. He served as a member of the catholic church alongside his wife, Maria, for the past 12 years. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He cared about everyone who mattered to him. He may have talked a little mess to everyone but that was his way of showing he cared. He showed up for anything and everything that had to do with his wife, children, and grandchildren. The love he had for his family was unmatched and will be preserved in all the memories that they now hold dear to their hearts. 

He is survived by his wife; Maria De Jesus Diaz. Daughters; Carla Diaz (Irving Peña), and Jessica Diaz. Son, Jesus Diaz. Sister; Sandra Diaz and brothers Ivan Diaz, and Ricardo Diaz. Granddaughter Ava Marie Peña and a grandson on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 4-6 PM, Friday, December 26, 2025, with a Rosary to be recited at 6 PM in the Chapel of the Eagle Lake Funeral Home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 27, 2025, at the Parish of the Nativity Catholic Church in Eagle Lake. Burial will follow in the Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Eagle Lake. Pallbearers will be Jesus Diaz, Irving Pena, Salvador Maquez, Jose Avalos, Victor Cantu, and Martin Ruvalcaba.
