In loving Memory of a Dear Mother and Sister

          It is with great sadness that we say, “until we meet again”, to a loving mother and sister. Anna Maria Perez Hailey is now in the embrace of those lost but not forgotten. Anna has been reunited with dearly departed loved ones. She is preceded in death by Alberto G. Perez Sr. (father), Obera “Bo” Martinez (mother), and Joe Lee Perez (brother).  Anna may be gone but her legacy lives on through her three amazing children. Kyana, Keenan, and Klair will forever live as the best of what a mother and a sister could give, life.

          Anna lived each day as a new discovery of the love she had for her children. Her happiest times were when she was bearing relenting summer heatwaves and blistering winter cold to watch one of her kiddos in a sporting event. Early on, she spent her time poolside watching Kyana at a swim meet, just to drive an hour afterwards to catch the last of Keenan’s baseball game. Her sidekick and partner in crime, Klair Bear, was always by her side. No matter how tired from working all day, Anna could always be heard above everyone else cheering on her babies. A faint echo, a soft whisper, and a mother’s love may be all we have left, but even that is like a warm embrace that blankets Kyana, Keenan, and Klair every day. I may have lost my little sister, but I take comfort in knowing that Mom, Dad, and Joe Lee are right beside her keeping a watchful eye on all of us.

          Services for Anna will be Thursday 7/20/2023 at Christian City Fellowship in Sealy, Tx. Guest viewing will be from 9:00 to 10:00 followed by the service. Anna’s final resting place with be at Parish of the Nativity Cemetery (across from Eagle Lake Hospital).
