Amada Polanco, 92, of Eagle Lake, Texas, passed away, Monday, March 24, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in Mexico on September 6, 1932, to Dionicio Sanchez and Dolores (Vargas) Sanchez. She was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Guadalupe. Amada is survived by her daughter Olga Polanco; her son, Gerardo Polanco and wife Adriana, three grandchildren, Gisselle. Gerardo, Jr., and Gabriel and a great grandson, Romeo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, from 5 – 6 PM at the Eagle Lake Funeral Home, with a Rosary being recited at 6 PM.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, March 28, 2025, at the Parish of the Nativity Catholic Church, with Father Oscar Amo, officiating, Burial will follow in the Nativity Catholic Cemetery in Eagle Lake, Texas.
